Last night
a couple of our students returned after missing session two—so glad of
that! But they and everyone else arrived
late (and not just a few minutes). I had
to stop my impatient self and recognize that several of the Albanian church
leaders taking this class have various lifestyle challenges—like getting across
town on subway and bus after a full work day, and making arrangements for
childcare with few options and limited funds.
In any case, after “a while” we were able to dive into the study of
Scripture’s great overarching themes, especially noting the great grace of God
who continues to care for and lovingly correct his wayward people. In the end it was a very good time of study
and worship as we immersed ourselves in the Word of God.
